I like to have a photo slideshow as the screensaver, so I installed the Xscreensaver-gl-extra package.

Then under the Applications -> Settings -> Screensaver menu, I activated only the GLSlideshow screensaver.

Under the Advanced tab, I set the “Image Manipulation” to only Choose Random Image from my /mnt/ro/Pictures directory. Done.
